How to use the channel?

The integration will allow you to synchronize the private channel.

mc_techs (inbound)

  • Messages synchronization : MC to MSP only
  • Thread replies synchronization: Enabled
  • Direct Messages: Disabled
  • Visibility: Private [Single MSP and MCNOC]

You can use this channel to receive ticket related inquiries from MCNOC’s technical team.
You will be able to chat in “real-time” with our tech team by replying to the original message thread.
The thread synchronization will auto-close if MC does not receive a reply from the MSP team within 5 minutes.

Do I need a Microsoft O365 license to enable this integration?
(MS Teams integrations)

Yes. You will need a dedicated and licensed O365 account to enable the integration. The license MUST include Microsoft Teams.

Why do you need Global Administrator rights to authorize the application?

This is a mandatory requirement to install and authorize the Enterprise application in MS Azure. You can remove the user’s Global Administrator rights once the installation has completed.

Once installed, you can review MCNOC’s Enterprise Application scope and permissions in your Microsoft’s Azure Admin panel.
